Another Saturday Fever

It's almost saturday evening and I'm off to Simshen for Choir in the evening (around 5:00pm). Choir begins at 5:30pm but I need to go collect the pile of photostet copy from Green Day Photocopy Center, so I went off early. Reached Simshen around 5:15pm after collecting the pile of scores... it was NOISY (as usual) in Simshen... with kids running around screaming, the little noise makers quacking off as though they haven't seen each other for a year and people walking in and out. But it was a lovely scene... though it would be much nicer if the kids wouldn't wail...

Was expecting some more new members today at Little Noise practice and they DID turn up. 2 guys from my school (SMK SBU) - Andrew & Richard (kononnya) and Aik Chuan from Stella Maris. Another new figure aside them turned up but she was WAY too shy to join us and hid at the door side. One was worst. Haha... she stood OUTSIDE with her mom and no matter how her mom tried to shove her in... she wouldn't!

We kicked-start practice with Lee Hom's Zhu Lin Shen Chu (Deep in the Bamboo Forest) and ran through the whole thing before my mom (She's the patron & adviser of Little Noise) came in and protested that we do some WARM UPS first since they ARE new members. FINE... Warm ups people! So we did the "1, 2, 3, 4, 5... 5, 4, 3, 2, 1... 1, 5, 4, 5, 3, 5, 2, 5... thingy taught by Mr. Potato Head Vegetable last week for a few moments. Andrew acted normally, RICHARD was annoyingly annoying ... he kept on blurting c2pid questions at c2pid times... but cute lar, and Aik Chuan was Aik Chuan =).

Practice continued and we divided into groups to practice the new song (The one I photocopied). It's call "The Little White Hen" ... The lyrics' hilarious with chicken squaking popping out in the songs front and back : "kakaney, kakaney, kakakakakakaney, kakaney, kakaney... kakakakakakakaney" *Starts laughing like a moron* Yea, imagine the choir doing chicken dance on stage and singing that ... MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA... This is one of the songs we're gonna go for the year end International Choral Festival > Junior Youth Choir Competition. Can't wait until we can finish the whole song (including dynamics and all), i'm sure it's gonna be nice.

After practice finishes... around 7:15pm, we were rushed downstairs back to Simshen's Room Number Four where the Monthly Mini Concert was held (It was almost end of the show... and we were supposed to END the show)... and we performed "I will Follow Him" followed by an enchoed "Musim Buah-buahan"... That's not the END yet... it's the BEGINNING!!! PARTY TIME PEOPLE!!! Haha... Right. After EVERY Monthly Mini Concert, they'll be a feast where all the parents of the participants had prepared food for everyone to dig in. And Little Noise members, of course, got to start digging first. lolx. We also celebrated Feng Ling Jie Jie's Birthday, which is TODAY... and gave her a Elle watch as Thank You for helping in the Jungle Wonder Show as Stage Manager PLUS all the days she babysat us... kakaney kakaney...

That's almost the end...
yea, I think I won't be the only one blogging here... Shu Sim should be seen typing away too... I think.
